This was a nice surprise to find! Really nice decor and food presentation was excellent. We had sushi and one of my guest ordered the bento box combo which tasted as great as it looked! Will be ordering the miso soup every time I go back!

Good food, but very inconsistent portion. The one I ordered (Udon noodle) has much less amount that Teriyaki that my wife ordered. Given the portion, it is overpriced!

Being from Toronto I was very surprised to find a sushi restaurant in Sussex. I through my enjoyed my dinner. The interior of the restaurant was lovely and the staff werr very friendly. Definitely will return.

Ive lived in Sussex for 20+ years and when i need food that won't make me sick Sushi Jo is the first place that comes to mind. Excellent service with quality food. 10/10 will eat there again very soon. I was actually sad when they took vacation because i couldnt eat there.

Don't have the opportunity to enjoy this place as often as I would like. Food is exceptionally good and quality is outstanding. My wife always enjoy our meal when were dining here. Highly recommend.

Great sushi and tasty Japanese food in such a small town

Best Sushi in southern NB. I haven’t tried the place in Moncton to compare, but this place has quality food. I have travelled quite bit with work and on vacation trying different restaurants that offer sushi. They are not big enough to offer all you can eat sushi, but the dishes have great presentation and delicious dishes. The theme in the restaurant is a little cheesy, but who cares. When I go to Sushi Joes, Im going for awesome food, not a overpriced restaurant decorated like the titanic.

I go here every time i'm down in Sussex. I recommend it to all my friends the food here is fantastic, Best sushi restaurant i've been to and I've tried a quite a few only one that tops it is one I tried in Ontario. Sometimes service can be slow but I can't even dock them on any stars because it's always worth the wait. If you think you don't like sushi at least try it once not all the sushi there has raw fish and sushi with fish is smoked so it's not even raw. Sushi from Sobey's or all you can eat buffets aren't sushi IMO and if that's all you have tried you should 100% give Sushi Jo's a try!!

Sushi Jo is amazing. By far the best sushi i've found so far in NB. The quality of the food is great and their prices are reasonable. I love going around noon because their lunch menu is great :)

This is just my rating for authenticity and value of the food we had ordered. I cannot mention service since we did an order to go. We ordered Korean dishes. The portion is small--or maybe the price is expensive. The flavor was okay (can tell it's Korean), but the presentation was not really there . For the price (and other reviews) I did expect more. We paid $40 for 2 dishes. I assume that Japanese items at the restaurant will be much more.

Wonderful blends of flavor, fresh fish and traditional preparation and presentation. The hot tea has a unique earthy tone to it I will have to find. Highly recommend !!!
